I was teary and so moved as I opened the pictures from Rina/Paper Bunny Studios and saw the sweetest shots capturing my little one. Rina caught all the intricacies of my daughters’ expressions in such a short time. My daughters’ smile, crinkle in her eyes, and wild hair was all captured perfectly. She’s already changed so much in the few weeks since we received the photos, and I’m eternally grateful to have that little morning frozen in time with some incredible shots. Rina was personable and warm and kind, and worked fast and efficiently- something I so appreciated having a young toddler who was ready for naptime and on the verge of a meltdown.
Rina kindly offered for me to jump in to the last few shots. I was a bit hesitant thinking my hair wasn’t done and I didn’t have a crumb of makeup on, but I’m so glad I did. She captured the way my daughter tugs softly on the collar of my shirt, and such genuine smiles and fondness. I’m often not in pictures in the day-to-day, as a Mom we so often capture shots of our kids, our spouses, our pets, without being in many of them. I’m so grateful Rina encouraged me to be part of this, and I’ll treasure these gorgeous photos for a long time.

We recently booked a family photo session with Paper Bunny Studios and got to work with Rina Chan as our photographer. The family photo session we were requesting was not the usual family session, but rather a combination of 6 families filled with 4 sets of in-laws, three siblings and their own families complete with 6 busy children (with 4 being 6 and under). Prior to the photo session, we were able to discuss all the details of the session and our expectations with Rina in two quick conversations, making excellent use of everyone’s time. She asked the right questions and provided the proper details that allowed for all of us to plan the photo session without any issues. During the 1.5 hour photo session, Rina managed to deal with 20 people in a professional, calm, patient and creative manner. She got the kids to smile with a bit of silliness and mischief, the grandparents to laugh, in-laws to talk with happiness and the siblings to have fun. What made it a wonderful photo session was the fact that Rina created a stress free environment without fuss, pressure and worry, while still catering to her clients wishes for a happy and productive family photo session.

I had Rina do several photo sessions with my daughter during the last two years. We did a milk bath, cake smash, and a Christmas themed shoot and the pictures from each one of the shoots were all equally amazing and unique. Being a mother of a toddler herself, Rina was very accommodating to work with right from the beginning. She was patient and made sure my daughter was calm, fed, and content before proceeding to starting each of the sessions.
