I love the rich tapestry of colours in the Fall – the hues of yellow, red & orange as leaves transition from green to brown before falling from the trees.

And with this outdoor family photo session I’ve also fallen in love with the rich colours of black & white Fall photography. There’s an amazing depth to the images. It was awesome spending time outdoors with M + K, their daughters and M’s parents. This time together as an extended family is so special and it’s an honour to capture these priceless memories.

I first met M + K as their wedding photographer. They had the most stunning wedding in Banff & it was wonderful to meet their family & friends. Fast forward to today, and one of my favourite images is a kissing one. But the beauty isn’t in the love story, but in their daughters’ reactions to seeing Mom + Dad kiss!
